Many arboricultural contractors offer a bit of landscaping on the side. At HTC, it's a core part of what we do — and we have the plant, machinery and trained operatives to prove it.

Over the past five years, HTC has delivered commercial landscaping projects ranging from housing estate open spaces and new-build ground preparation through to drainage installation, hard landscaping and tree and hedge planting programmes. What We Deliver

  • Ground Preparation & Grading

    Getting the ground right is the foundation of every successful landscaping project. HTC carries out ground preparation and grading for Public Open Spaces, new-build developments and commercial sites — levelling, cultivating and conditioning soil to the specification required, ready for turfing, planting or hard landscaping.

  • Drainage

    Poor drainage causes problems that are expensive to fix after the fact. We install drainage solutions as part of broader landscaping programmes — ensuring water is managed correctly from the outset, whether across open grassland, hard-standing areas or planted zones.

  • Turfing

    From small communal gardens to large open spaces, HTC lays turf to a professional standard. We prepare the sub-base thoroughly before laying, and use the right equipment for the scale of the job — including tractors and ride-on mowers for larger areas. The result is an even, healthy finish that establishes quickly and lasts.

  • Tree & Hedge Planting

    With 20 years of arboricultural expertise behind us, tree and hedge planting is something we do particularly well. We advise on species selection, prepare planting positions using augers and excavators where required, and install trees and hedges to British Standard specifications — including staking, guarding and initial watering where needed.

  • Slabbing & Hard Landscaping

    HTC installs paving, slabbing and hard-standing areas as part of wider landscaping contracts — providing a joined-up service for developers and estate managers who want one contractor handling the full outdoor programme.

  • Fencing

    From timber post-and-rail to close-board and security fencing, HTC supplies and installs fencing across commercial and residential developments. Our teams work efficiently on large linear runs, with the equipment and workforce to keep pace with wider construction programmes.

  • Watering & Establishment

    Newly planted trees, hedges and turfed areas need the right aftercare to establish successfully. HTC provides watering and establishment support as part of our planting programmes — particularly important on larger public open space projects where long-term survival of new planting is a contractual requirement.
